I truly think every person within driving distance was at the museum today. I really can't remember being there on a day when it was this crowded. It was crowded when it opened, how does that happen. Baylor had a Lego class this morning and he was able to go with Daddy. They made some great things, Baylor's favorite is his castle bank. Too cute. The new Lego exhibit is awesome and has so many thing to do. We are excited to go back during the week when it is less crowded. Cooper had fun playing with the art glass while Baylor was in class. We were able to go to a few exhibits, but left for lunch since it was such a madhouse. I am sure the museum was happy with the turnout today. When we got home Baylor played on the driveway and rode his bike and four wheeler. He can't wait to play outside.

Tom's Press Conference

Today I was so proud of Tom. He had a press conference with Governor Daniels and Mayor Ballard and several media groups for the expansion of Streetlinks. His company is staying in Indiana, yeah, and in the process of hiring lots of new employees. He did such a great job speaking and answering questions. He has worked really hard over the past few years and we are so blessed with all of the new things happening with his company. Cooper and I went to watch Daddy, but Baylor wanted to go to preschool since it was pajama day. That is more important when you are four.

All Aboard!!

Today we took the trains off the track and played to try and stay on track at home again. We have had lots of days in the house and they are wearing on all of us, but different activities seem to help. We made a huge train and tried to move it down the hall. We finally had to sit Coop in the bouncer as we tried to move the train because he was trying to break the train. We also had train races and made train circles. I love Thomas and Baylor likes the construction trains. All Aboard for some fun!

When I Grow Up...

Guess who Baylor wanted to help today. He asked lots of questions and stayed close the entire time. I am sure workers love to come to our house and have help from an inquisitive four year old. The leak was found and conquered. Now on to drywall, lighting and paint, Hooray!

Hooray!

I never thought I would be so excited about a washer and dryer. Notice the nice scratches on the door from when the delivery men took out the old set, add this to the list of repairs.

Our newest problem, a leak in the ceiling from the upstairs bathroom. The plumber comes tomorrow.

At 9:00 tonight my washer and dryer were reconnected and within five minutes I had started a load. I am so thankful to have them back after close to a month. I know my laundry fairy is even more excited. Thanks mom for all your help, we really appreciate it and would have been out of clothes. The new floor in the kitchen and laundry room look great, but the bathroom flooring was defective so after laying half of it the man advised us to pull it and start over. So once again we still have a project, but the downstairs is making huge strides. We do think we have some other issues with the cracks and the uneven floor levels, so we will add this to the list. Oh the joys of home ownership. Baylor had a hard time staying out of the way today, he wanted to help the big boys. Let's just say they wanted him to steer clear. We made it though after being stuck in for another day. I can't wait for spring to come.

Ball Boys

Last night during the Super Bowl (Go Steelers) Baylor and Cooper had fun playing their own type of ball game. First they were just kicking the new green ball around the room and after a little bit they added a new dimension to the game. Baylor got a spatula from the play kitchen and Coop picked out the play frying pan. They were then hitting the ball around the room and chasing after it. They both had so much fun. Coop was at a disadvantage due to his speed and lack of aggression but he did not seem to mind. We finally had to cut off the game because it was hard to hear and Daddy didn't want to miss the big game. Before the game we picked which team would win. Daddy wanted the Cardinals because he hates the Steelers. I wanted the Steelers because I have always been a fan of big Ben. It really is all about the quarterback, right? Baylor picked the Cardinals because he liked their uniforms the best and I couldn't really tell which team Cooper preferred when we were trying to get him to decide. It was a fun night watching the big game.

On the first night The Great Wolf (ie daddy) left a paw pass on the light in our bedroom for Baylor. With this special pass Baylor was able to complete several tasks during our stay. He went to the Great Wolf stuffing station, became a magi with a wand and went on adventures, tie dyed a shirt in the cub club, got a tattoo, and a few other special treats. He had lots of fun along the way. We also went to the arcade where both boys had fun playing. Each night the hotel has a special program by the Clock Tower. The boys loved the show and were excited to be able to wear their jammies. What a fun time!
