Palm Sunday

This morning the sun was shining and we had a great day at church. I love Palm Sunday and all that this week means to me as a Christian. I was talking to Baylor about when Jesus came on the donkey and the Jews waved palm branches and said Hosanna to show them how much they loved him and that he was their king. We have been over this before but Baylor said I don't think I know who Hosanna is, do you know her mom? I don't think he really understood the gist but it was really cute. I am so happy that we have a great church where Baylor loves to go and learn about Jesus. Pastor Andy preached today and it was a great sermon. He used one of my favorite verses at the end.

Joshua 24:14-15

"Now fear the Lord and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away

the gods your forefathers worshipped beyond the River and in Egypt,

and serve the Lord. But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amoirites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my

household, we will serve the Lord."

After church we had a short window of playtime before the rain came. Daddy washed the tractor and Cooper and Baylor had fun making laps on the Gator. Baylor was able to play with the neighbor dog and play ball before it started to sprinkle. Cooper was so sad when it was time to come in and kept going to the garage door for more time outside. I love how green everything is outside and all the signs of spring.

We enjoyed the sun today and spent most of the day outside playing. Baylor loves to be outside and enjoys spending time with his dad. Tonight Mimi and Pop came over for dinner on the golf cart. The boys were able to go for a ride and then play with Mimi and Pop outside before they left. Cooper was calling the moon a ball while they were on the golf cart. I think he wanted someone to get it for him to play with. Mimi and Baylor went in the woods and found a special Indian trail, according to Mimi. He loves to go in the woods, it really is a wonderland for a little boy. They both had a great day and love spending time outside.

On the way home today we stopped at the pig farm again today. They were super dirty from all the rain and were busy playing in the mud. The boys were so happy to be there. The farmer came when we were there and he told me to get out of the car and come here. Baylor and I went and he brought out two baby pigs that were only a few days old. They were so cute. Baylor got to pet them and talk to the farmer. How fun. Mimi and I really feel like holding our noses the whole time we are there but the boys don't mind at all.

Easter Preview

Today the boys previewed their Easter outfits and we had their pictures taken for Easter. After waiting forever at the Picture People they turned out pretty good and the boys did great. We then headed to see the Easter bunny in our Sunday best. Coop sat on his lap today but didn't really crack a smile. Still a little unsure of the whole thing, but loving the basket of suckers. He sat down again and started to enjoy his treat.

How does he make this go?

Going for a ride.

When ever we talk about going outside Cooper runs to the door leading to the garage and says a word that sounds like "side" followed by his southern accent "bye". He says "bye" over and over again for emphasis and it gets more of a drawl as he continues. Seriously when we left the pigs today he said "bye" to them all the way to Greenwood and kept asking with his hands where they were. Mimi and I kept telling him they were gone and they were at the farm. After about twelve times Baylor became frustrated and said Coop the pigs are gone. It was a Jerry Maguire moment, made me think of when the little boy kept saying he wanted to go to the zoo. They once again had a great time playing outside. They both are unhappy when it is time to go in the house. Mimi and Pop came over on the golf cart tonight and they all went for a ride. Oh what fun!

Buds

It is amazing how well the boys are playing together these days. In the past few weeks Cooper has been able to keep up with Baylor and follow his directions when playing. Although Baylor is definitely the ring leader during play Cooper is always happy to tag along. They both love to play outside and have been playing so nicely together. They both had fun playing with balls outside and enjoying the sunny day. I love these two little men.

How great to think your daddy is the best thing in the world. Lately Baylor had decided to change his career from McDonald's worker to Streetlinks employee with his Daddy. He likes to talk about appraisals and the economy. While he doesn't know what this all means I know he hears it and tries to act like a big boy. He likes to pack a briefcase and fill it and then pretend he is going on an airplane trip. It is so cute. He really loves his Daddy, and so do I!!!!!!!!!!!!
