Cooper's Preschool Promotion Program

When Coop was walking in he saw Pop at the door and went running to see him.
He spotted us.

Acting serious.

He waved to us lots.

He waved throughout the entire program.

Sweetness.

The dinosaur song was his favorite he was really into the motions.

When they sang "The Wheels on the Bus" Cooper got to drive the bus. He had the bus moving on the stage.

So cute!

I was worried the bus was going to fly off of the stage.

During the promotion part of the program he was a little bored.

He said his shirt scratched him.

Baylor went down to get him.

Baylor's 2nd Game

I love when they give high fives to the other team after the game. I love that they don't keep score in the instructional league and can just focus on learning the game and having fun.

He had three big hits. We texted Daddy videos and pictures during the game since he was traveling. He hates to miss his games. Pop came to take pictures and Mommy cheered him on.

I sent these videos to Tom. The first one is Baylor batting and the second one is after the game. IT cracks me up because the other team is saying they won and Baylor keeps saying they don't keep score. If fits his Type A follow the rules personality.

Super Cooper

Mimi took him to get a prize after he was back to his normal self for being such a brave big boy. He has been wanting a bike that is his size and he was so excited. He drove it all around Walmart.
Playing before he went back. I was so nervous at this point.

I was so worried about him and wanted a picture of his sweet smile before.

He took his shark with him.

At this point he had no idea what he was going to have done.

On Tuesday we met with Dr. Mann and he was so nice and made me feel so much better. I had been crying and was so upset and Cooper. His back tooth needed a pulpectomy, root canal of a baby tooth, and a crown. I felt so guilty and was a mess. Tom was gone all week and I had to do it all by myself. I wanted to get it done as soon as possible and they had an appointment for Wednesday morning. I worried about what his tooth would look like and if I should go with stainless or tooth colored. I ddin't have a peace about stainless so we went with the other and I am glad we did. I do not know why I was so nervous but I had a hard time sleeping the night before and was crying about his little mouth. I just felt so guilty and did not want him to go through any of this. Thankfully Wednesday morning went great. Miss Sarah came and watched Parker and Mimi picked up Baylor from school. The hardest part was he could not eat or drink anything after 10 pm at night. His appointment was at 10:15 so he had a rough morning. He was crying for milk and kept saying he was so hungry. When we got to the dentist he took his "juice" or medicine with a dropper so he would not throw it up and then sat with me for 15 minutes to let it take effect. Within five minutes he was pretty loopy. He sat on my lap and said his head was too heavy. He kept saying my eyes won't open but I want to see the movie. When they took him back he didn't cry at all and was fine. He was back for 30 minutes and then they came to get me. He did great and kept telling them he was Super Cooper. The doctor said it was so cute that he kept asking him over and over and it irritated Cooper and then he was yelling Super Cooper. Dr. Mann was so nice and was so pleased with how things went. I had to carry Coop out and he could not walk on his own or have full control for a few more hours. He couldn't eat or drink anything put water until 1:30 so it was rough but we made it. We went to Mimi's house and kept him busy and then went on a walk to pass the last 30 minutes. He was so happy to have milk and food. He said the worst part was the medicine and does not remember anything about the procedure, what a blessing. He was so cute when he felt good enough to get a prize he was telling us all to hurry it was his special day. I am so thankful that it all went well. We do have to go back once more but it should be much better since we know what to expect.

Little Reds Fans

Since Tom is now home I can tell the reason behind this story. He left when I got home on Sunday and did not get home until Thursday afternoon, he was in New York, Texas, and New Hampshire. Tom got Baylor's bat bag out of his truck but did not realize B had set his ball cap in the back seat. Since we had a game on Wednesday we had to get a new hat.
Parker was hollering to wear one too.

Instead of one hat we ended up with three for our three little Reds fans.

Does he look guilty or what?

We had to buy a baby gift at Von Maur and he was trying out the umbrellas. He was trying to convince us he needed this one. He is right though with all the rain we have been having here in soggy Indiana.

Dentist

The boys were so excited to wear their Reds shirts that I bought over the weekend in Ohio.

He did so good at the dentist and went back all by himself like a big boy. One of the other hygienist took these for me while I was getting my teeth cleaned. All three of us got our teeth cleaned at the same time which helps so much!
Poor Cooper had six cavities and one was really bad. He went six months ago and had not a sign of a cavity. They think his acid reflux was the main cause of all the decay. He also loves orange juice which we have to cut back on.

I was so nervous about what we needed to do about his teeth but he was so brave! Dr. Ebeyer referred us to a pediatric dentist and we made an appointment for Tuesday for a consult and more xrays.

Baylor was a model patient, such a big boy.

His six year molars are all in and we have to go back to get them sealed. He had one small cavity in between two teeth so we made his appointment for Thursday to seal and fix that small cavity.

Women of Faith

We got to meet Angie in her book signing line. We were lucky because she had a flight to catch and we almost didn't get to see her.
We said we could see her as our friend.

Natalie Grant sang and was amazing. We were on the fourth row and had great seats.

The ice cream was yummy.

Columbus or Rome?

Next girl's trip Rome, we'll talk to Austin and Tom. Maybe next couple's trip in like 20 years when all of our kids are a little older.

I have been so excited for this weekend to come! I started reading Angie Smith's blog in 2008 and have been so touched by her story and her sweet spirit. What an encouragement she is to so many! When she posted she was going to be a speaker at Women of Faith Jamie and I both wanted to go. We looked at the tour schedule and Columbus Ohio was the closest. She was not originally speaking in Indianapolis but now is so if you want to be touched go to Women of Faith. I was so excited for a fun girls weekend. I was also nervous to leave home since this was my first time away from Parker for a night. The boys did great and had fun with Daddy. We left Friday morning and drove to an outlet mall in Ohio. What a fun day with a great friend. We checked into our hotel and then went to dinner at a pizza place right by the arena. The opening session was great and we knew it was going to be a great weekend. We had floor tickets and could see great. Saturday was so much fun. What a great time of worship and all of the speakers were so good. During a break we walked to the City Market and had some ice cream. For dinner we went to Buca and then to see Water for Elephants. We had so much fun talking and relaxing! I am so thankful for the weekend and a great friend to spend it with. I also appreciate Tom and my parents for helping with the boys, they all survived without me and I knew they were having fun.
