Another First

A half smile.

Stretching.

This morning after Baylor got on the bus I went to change Sawyer and noticed his umbillical cord was gone.  It had fallen off and was in his jammies.  I was sad to see it go, but think his little belly looks so cute.

Second Bath

After we put the big boys to bed Tom and I gave little man his second bath.  We weighed him before bath and he was right at 11 pounds.

I thought with Daddy's help he may like the bath, but that was still a negative.

He rarely cries but bath is not his thing!

I'm sure it won't be long and he will love it!

Happy Labor Day

I love long weekends!  It is so nice to be able to enjoy all of Sunday and Sunday night and then have the next day too.  We were happy to have Daddy home for another day!  Cooper couldn't wait for Monday because Bailey, his girlfriend was coming for lunch.  He loves her!  The Taylor family came over and brought us lunch from Buffalo Wild Wings and came to meet Sawyer.

Coop had fun playing with Jake.  Baylor had spent the night with Mimi and was still at their house.  

Bailey is an 8th grader this year and is such a sweet sweet girl!  She is so nice to the boys and they love her!

They brought all of the boys a present and they were so thrilled!

He couldn't wait to open his jeep.

This was the first time Jake had held a baby and he did great.

After nap we headed to Mimi and Pop's house for a cookout.  Mama and Papa came too.

We had steaks on the grill with corn and baked potatoes and tomato salad.  It was all delicious!

Daddy grilled the steaks and they were great.

Mimi made two tasty ice cream pies for dessert.

Papa got some snuggle time too!

After dinner the boys played football and went on a golf cart ride before heading home to get ready for the week.

Eating Out as a Family of 6!

On Sunday we worked at home and then headed to Chili's for a late lunch.  It was our first time to eat out as a family of 6!

Everyone did great at lunch and our first experience went great.

Everyone eats really well there too and enjoyed their lunches.

Daddy surprised the boys with new bat bags and had them all set up, they were so excited.

On the way home from lunch we stopped at the tux shop and got Baylor fitted for a tux for Andy's wedding.

He looks so handsome!

Camping in the Backyard

The boys have been begging to camp out in the backyard again.

On Friday night we went camping in the backyard and they were thrilled!

The weather called for rain but it held off and was clear all evening and night.  It was hot but rain free.

When Daddy got home it was time to set up!

The boys loved getting the fire all ready.  I think a bonfire is their favorite part.

Then they all helped Daddy get the tent set up and ready for the night.

Mimi came over and held Sawyer so I could go out and enjoy the fun too.  We really coated them all up in bug spray!

The tent is so easy to set up and is huge inside.  Daddy put a queen air mattress inside for himself and the boys all had sleeping bags and blankets.  

They were excited!

They helped get the inside all set up.

Parker thought he would sleep right there.

Then it was campfire time.

We roasted hot dogs and of course smores!

So fun!

I love hot dogs roasted over a campfire.  They were so tasty!

Tom is such a good Daddy!

Then it was time for bed.  Bax started out in the tent but then Tom called me to let him in, he ran right to his crate.  I think he was happy to be out of the tent.

They were hot in the night and the two little boys had a hard time going to sleep but they all had a great time. They were begging to do it again the next night, I think Daddy was thankful it was raining:).
