Sunday Games

Both boys had games again on Sunday.

Once again we were thankful for Mimi and Pop and their help.  Daddy coached Baylor's team and Pop stayed with Coop.

Mimi and I took turns waiting in the car with Sawyer so we could watch the boys too.  They have been wanting us to see them play!

He was so funny when he was up to bat.  The coach was throwing the ball under hand and he was having a hard time.  He said wait a minute coach throw it over and then he hit it right away.  He just talks to everyone the whole time.

Baylor had a great game.  He played catcher most of the game and did great.

His team played the Pirates today and they won 19-5.  They all had a great game.  B had great hits!

He loves baseball.

Love him.  He has such a sweet heart.  He's been telling us lately how much he loves us and that we are the best mommy and daddy.

Another successful week of fall baseball.  They both are having a great time!

Date at the Orchard

Since Tom flew all night on Thursday and got in early Friday morning he took the day off and worked from home Friday.  When Baylor got home from school on Friday the littles were still napping so we took Sawyer and headed to the orchard for a little date.  The picking season is short this year because of the weather we had in the spring so I wanted him to get a chance to pick apples at the orchard.  He was excited to go.

It was a beautiful afternoon and there was no one there so it was perfect.

Sawyer slept through his first apple picking experience.

I love being able to spend quality time with the boys alone.

I'd pick him for sure!  We ended with an apple slush and apple fondue.  It was a perfect afternoon.

InstaFriday:September 7

It's Friday again!  Here's a look at our week through my Instagram pics.  I am loving Instagram and have so much fun with it during the week.  I love having my phone handy to take quick pics.

1.  The boys love shopping with Daddy way more than with Mommy.

3.  Sawyer went on a date with Mommy and Daddy to Bravo.  He really enjoyed himself.

4.  On our date we went to Dick's and got the boys new bat bags.  They were excited.  Parker got his own mitt.

3.  We survived our first week of travel.  I was nervous how it would got alone but thanks to Mimi, Pop and Miss Sarah we did great.

9.  My first caramel apple shake of the season.  This also means it won't be long and they will have peppermint chocolate chip shakes!

3.  Coop said he's used to babies and can babysit for me.  He said there's a boy in his class that is allergic to babies though so he shouldn't watch Sawyer.

Embrace the Camera: September 6

I woke up at 5:44 am to my phone ringing.  It was the school calling to inform us we had a two hour delay due to fog.  What?  We ended up having a lazy morning at home with all four boys.

As the boys woke up they all made their way to my room and we watched cartoons in bed together.

It was nice to spend some time together in the morning.  Everyone was nice and happy and there was no fighting!

It didn't last all day but was sure nice while it did!

Three Weeks Old

Today you are three weeks old!

You are a sweet sweet baby.  You make cute little noises and have such funny faces.  I love to watch you.  

You love to be held and want to eat all of the time.  That's why you have such nice little rolls.

We are still working on better sleep at night.  I think our longest stretch is still three hours.  

You sleep great when I hold you.  You also like your bouncy seat and like when it vibrates.  You like to sleep with your hands above your head.

We are all crazy about you!

I am so thankful for you and feel so blessed to be your Mommy.  You truly are our perfect surprise.

Some crazy people always say, did you want a little girl, and I answer you were meant for us!  I love you and wouldn't trade you for anything!!!!  I was meant to be a mom of boys and cherish all of you!

You are getting bigger.

You move on the scale and it bounces so it's hard to read.

We think you were right at 11 pounds.

We love you sweet little one!

Wednesday Game for Coop

Coop had a game tonight which made for some interesting scheduling.  Tom was in California so we were thankful for Mimi, Pop, and Miss Sarah.  

Mimi drove Coop and Miss Sarah to the game and stayed and watched until she had to leave for the food pantry.  Baylor went with Mimi and helped work at the food pantry.

Miss Sarah stayed and cheered on Coop and then Pop came after work and stayed for the second half and brought them home!

Miss Sarah is a life saver and I love her so much!  She stayed with us last week while Tom was gone and it was a huge blessing.

It rained in the afternoon so we wondered if the game would be canceled but by game time it was bright and sunny.

He is so funny.

He kept saying the coach was throwing bad pitches.

Go Coop!

I think he was happy that it rained because it meant more dirt and mud.  He was excited to show me how dirty his pants were when he got home.
