Yesterday afternoon Uncle Joe arrived at the beach house. We were all so excited to see him and are having so much fun with him. The boys love him and he is so much fun to be around. Joe has the best personality and is so easy going. He is such a joy to be around. Joe helped Baylor build an alligator in the sand and look for shells. Cooper had a hard time staying off of the alligator's head. It was such a beautiful day and we are enjoying our last week at the beach.

Baylor has been playing with a little boy at the beach all week named Xavier. It took Baylor a little while to get his name down he was calling him Savior. Well today was the boys last day so he played with Baylor the whole time at the beach. They had fun working in the kitchen and making delicious treats for us to eat. Cooper was a little left out and they didn't want the little baby playing with them. I tried to keep Coop out but I felt bad for him, he wants to be a part of the action. It really works best when it is just Baylor and Cooper because they play pretty well together and Baylor realizes he is a baby and is pretty accommodating. We went to the pool to swim and wait for Uncle Joe to get here. Baylor keeps saying he hears the car and can't wait to see Joe Joe. He is so excited. Cooper was so tired from his morning out he fell asleep at lunch with a popsicle in his hand. I was able to unstrap him and lay him on the floor and he is still sound asleep.

After a fun day in the sun we headed to St.Armands to try a new Italian restaurant. It is such a cute place and has a great place to watch the pizza being made. Baylor loved watching the chef roll and throw the dough. Our waiter was so nice to the boys and even gave Baylor a pizza making lesson. He let Baylor throw the dough and showed him how to stretch it out. Baylor had so much fun. Our waiter also brought the boys superman gelatto and Cooper was so excited. When his was gone he was ready to cry and was asking for more. The nice waiter brought his a scoop to go and he was so happy. We will definitely go back for more delicious pizza again.

It was a hot day at the beach today. Cooper and I woke up early again when it sounded like the lawn mower was going to come through the window. The yard people started at 8:00 and Cooper kept saying "Go Car" and pointing to the window. I could not get him back to sleep, and we did not want to wake Mimi and Baylor so we headed to the beach in our pajamas. We went on a long walk and played out when it was cool and calm. Oh how it changed by the time we went out for the day. It was a beautiful day but much warmer at the beach. We were hot and all got into the water to cool off. Cooper had fun playing in the water too. At the pool he fell asleep while eating lunch. Baylor had fun playing with other kids at the pool and did a great job sharing his toys. The pool was very busy this afternoon but the boys loved all the extra action.

Megan Returns

Cooper fell asleep at the beach today. He woke up at 8:00 this morning and has been getting up around 9:45. He needed two naps today.

Last night Megan met us at Demetrio's for dinner. Both boys were so excited to see her and were hugging and kissing on her. Before bed last night Cooper was sitting on the couch and giving her raspberries. We were all laughing so hard. We had lots of fun at the beach today. Cooper and I woke up early this morning and didn't want to wake our sleeping buddy so we went to the beach and played for a few hours alone. (Cooper and I are sleeping in the twin beds pushed together and then Megan joined us). It was so calm and peaceful. We found a great spot by the water with two big hole already dug for our deluxe kitchen. Oh how happy I was to not have to dig a new hole. Megan and I both worked in the hole with the boys cooking up a storm. We also played ball and Frisbee by the water. Mimi stayed in with the boys during nap time and Megan and I went to the beach for some quiet time. Tonight we went to St. Armands and ate at the Columbia restaurant. It was delicious. We had a great time.

It was a rainy day at the beach so we headed to the outlet mall this morning. I think everyone else had the same idea. It was so packed. We did find some cute things for the boys. Cooper took his nap at the mall so when we got home Baylor tried to take his nap. Let's just say that didn't go too well today. I took Cooper to the beach and we were one of the only people there. He had fun trying to chase the birds. He was so busy waving to the seagulls. When they would fly away he was asking me with his hands why. It was too cute. He loves the birds.

Another great day at the beach and pool today. The kitchen was back open today and both boys were hard at work cooking tasty treats. Baylor would stop people walking by to show off his creations. Cooper talks to anyone walking by and likes to show them birds and his toys. He is quite the hit at the beach. One lady stopped and asked to take pictures of him today because she was a painter. He made friends with her and was very happy. The boys were jumping in the waves today and had fun in the water. It was nice and warm today and the water felt great. Baylor is loving the pool and begs to swim without his vest. When I am in the pool I let him take it off. He is so close to being able to swim. When we get home we will try swimming lessons again so he can swim this summer. He loves to jump in and swim underwater. Cooper is also brave in the pool and likes to jump in. He is not afraid of putting his face in the water. They love playing together at the pool.
