Tonight we had an hour long swimming lesson to make up for the days of morning rains. I was happy to have it at night so Daddy would be able to watch the big man. Baylor was so excited to show Tom all he has learned in class. He did a great job and was worn out after an hour of swimming. He only has one more class and has done such an amazing job. Miss Sarah is an awesome teacher and is so nice to him. He really enjoys her and listens so well and wants to do his best. Cooper did a great job watching and cheering his brother on tonight.

Since it was raining or more like pouring today our outdoor plans quickly changed. Baylor wore his musketeer costume and was a big hit. He was worried his feather would get ruined if it got wet but we were extra careful. Cooper was a big fan of the cupcakes Mimi bought and made a huge mess but enjoyed every bite. Tonight when Mimi and Pop came over Poppy gave horsey rides. He was the royal horse for the musketeer.

After bible study this morning Cooper and I headed to Mama's house to meet up with Baylor for a day at the pool. Mimi and Pop took him to swimming lessons this morning and Pop was able to watch him the whole time. Baylor was so excited to show off for Pop. We had lunch outside and then spent the afternoon swimming. It was a great day to spend at the pool and both boys wore themselves out.

This morning we headed to Mama's house for swimming lessons. We had an hour lesson today to make up for the one day of rain from last week. Baylor did great today in class and really worked on his back stroke. Cooper and I watched him from the family room window and he was clapping for Baylor. It is amazing how good he is doing in just a week. During swimming Cooper and I also walked around the yard and he was busy smelling all the flowers. Baylor has been obsessed with the Mickey Musketeer movie lately. We have watched it in the car for weeks on end and he knows all the words. He always wants to pretend he is playing musketeers and has his brother be the princess. He tells Coop what to do and he says"Okay". He has wanted a costume and has been using his cowboy and having us pretend it is really a musketeer. In cleaning my closet I found one I bought on clearance after Halloween last year so I gave it to him today and he was thrilled. He wants to wear it to nap and all day tomorrow. It is a little hot for that but he looks so cute. He still loves to dress up.

Today after church we headed to Trader's Point Creamery for brunch. I have wanted to go there for a long time and the weather looked like today would be the perfect day. We ate brunch in the loft which is the upstairs of an old converted barn that is really pretty. The scenery was beautiful. Our breakfast was a little different than our usual Sunday morning from Cafe 52 but it was fun to try. The best part of the trip was after eating. We walked all around the farm to visit the cows and chickens. First we saw the calves in the barn. They were so cute and gentle. The boys were able to touch them and check out the barn. The chicken were all over and two even jumped inside the John Deere. Baylor and Cooper both wanted to get in the tractor. The big cows were farther down the path out in the pasture grazing. They were so fun to watch and we were able to get so close. Cooper kept calling them "horses" but he was mooing so we are half way there. The walk was so pretty and the cooler temperatures made it a perfect day to be outside.

What a productive day we had at our house. Tom and I worked all day moving furniture, cleaning, and getting things marked off our list. Mimi took Baylor during the day and then they watched both boys at night so we were able to get lots more done. We rearranged the game room and Baylor thinks it is awesome. He is so funny. Baylor did have a special treat today right at nap time. We were headed to nap when the doorbell rang. A friend in the neighborhood and his mom came by to see if Baylor wanted to go and play at the park. He was so excited and was able to take a later nap. This was the first time he went on a playdate without us. What a big boy. He had a great time.

We started the day early with swimming class this morning. Baylor did great again and I was so proud of him. We got dressed and went to pick up Mimi to go to Conner Prairie. The weather was perfect for walking around outside and hanging out in the animal barn. The boys had so much fun with all the animals. The new hot air balloon exhibit is so neat and has so much for the kids to do. Baylor loved it all and wanted to stay there for a long time. Our class was call Cow Encounters since it was national cow day. Baylor was able to pet several cows, feeds them, and milk a goat. It was so much fun. The class was great. Tonight we went with Mimi and Pop to the Middle Eastern Festival. It is one of my favorite things to do in the summer. I love the food. I ate 10 grape leaves all by myself. My family is not as fond of the food but we all had a great time. Jenny and Chris were there too and sat with us during dinner. It was chilly outside but a great time was had by all.
