Baylor's School Halloween Party

Baylor's class with Mrs. Rose.
They looked so cute!
Baylor, Mason, and Drake.
Baylor loves Lilly.
His table working on their craft.
Go Baylor.
Getting the loot.
They enjoyed playing the games.
Pumpkin bowling was a big hit.
Baylor's class had eighteen parents sign up to help with parties this year so needless to say there was lots of help. At the first meeting they broke the parents into groups and I got assigned to the Halloween and Christmas parties. Baylor was excited for the party and happy to have me come and help. He helped me put the treat bags together and get all the games ready. He also helped me get the crafts all put together. Since he is morning kindergarten they have a small costume parade where they go through the other kindergarten room, first grade, and second grade classes. Next year he will love the whole school parade outside, it is such a fun time! He wore his cowboy costume and looked so handsome. All of the kids looked so cute in their costumes and had fun putting them on with their friends. The kids first made a picture frame and did a magic scratch picture. We then went outside and did a ghost pinata. One of the other moms made the ghost pinata and it was so cute. It was full of candy and little toys. It was chilly out but the sun was shining so we were able to do the pinata outside. The kids had a snack and then played three games, pumpkin bowling, bone toss, and ring toss on the witches' hats. It was a fun day at school with friends.

A Day at Home

Making cookies.
He has just recently discovered the other side of the couch. It's a whole new world of toys.
Our finished brownies.
He's a great helper.
He's a little messy. Can you tell we didn't do his hair today. He was in desperate need of a hair cut!
All the cooking, crafting, singing, and noise wore this baby out. I love those sweet feet!
We painted paper plates and made them into pumpkin. Baylor made a few more, this is his black cat, and we added bend a roos. Cooper loves to play with bend a roos. They are so fun and so easy to clean up.
Wednesday night Cooper had a fever and just didn't feel the greatest. His fever was gone in the morning but he still didn't feel a hundred percent. It was freezing in the morning so Mimi watched the little boys while I took Baylor to school and I ran by the grocery to get things for dinner and to make during the day. Baylor had originally thought we were going to the pumpkin patch but once he found out we were making cookies and doing crafts he was fine to stay home.
We made Halloween cookies, brownies, and did some painting. The boys worked on their crafts for a long time and loved painting. I made sloppy joes for dinner which turned out pretty good. I made them in the crock pot and then we had them after we got hair cuts. It ended up being a good day at home and Cooper felt so much better.

Oh No!

He was so proud!
He thought he was a big deal.
Parker can climb the stairs!
I was working in the dining room and he was playing on the floor with a bowling pin, his favorite toy, right next to me. He started to crawl out of the room and I followed behind him. He went right for the stairs and started to climb up like he had done it a million times. He didn't stop or even look back, he was gone. I can't believe how fast he was! I brought him back down and he did it again and again. He even wanted to show off for Daddy and his big brothers, he was quite proud of himself. It is now time to get our trusty gates back out of the attic.

Cooper's Preschool Halloween Party

Coop liked his snack.
The pumpkin they carved was their centerpiece, so cute!
They were all so good!
Coop's game group. They were tossing bones into the cauldron. We had three different games for them to rotate through.
Parker was into everything.
Coop was excited to give Mrs. Steele her Halloween present.
They made a spider web and colored wooden ornaments. They did great on their crafts.
They all got to help scoop out the inside of the pumpkin.
Great little singers.
Today was Cooper's preschool Halloween party. We had crazy weather here this morning making for a very interesting party but it turned out great. I dropped Baylor and Cooper off at school and then headed to Target. I needed to get a few things and get my Target fix and then was going to run to Sams to get cupcakes before the party. While I was at Target the storm sirens started to go off and Tom and Mimi were calling to see where I was. I had everything for the party in my car already so I just headed to preschool and hung out in the basement with all the kids from 9:30 until the party started. The storm came pretty quickly and I was glad I made it in to school before the downpour started. Even though we had to do the whole party in the basement the kids had fun. We had two crafts, played three games and had a snack. They also got to carve a pumpkin and sing Halloween songs. They were all so sweet and very happy during the party. Parker was very busy at school and very noisy. He may not be able to go with me to the Christmas party:). Cooper brought little presents to his teachers and he was so proud. They were all so sweet to him, he is lucky to have such nice teachers!

Trick or Treating Round One

Mama and Papa with Baylor. He brought them some crafts and he couldn't wait to give them to them.
Parker and Papa.
Two Buzz boys.
He's a busy little crocodile.
Our attempt at a group shot. It did not go well.
Papa opened lots of candy for Coop. They were pals:).
Park liked the wrapping.
What a cute Mickey.
He spent time with Mama and Papa.
Jen and I wanted a picture with Mama and then the boys wanted to join in.
Playing cards with Mama.
After school the boys and I met Jen and Ethan at Mama and Papa's house to go trick or treating. We stopped on our way and picked up McDonald's for everyone and we all ate together with Mama and Papa. The boys were so excited to go show off their costumes. Today Baylor and Cooper both went as Buzz Lightyear and Parker was Mickey Mouse. Mr. Ethan wore his crocodile costume and looked so cute. The boys had fun playing with Mama and Papa. Mama played cards with Baylor and he thought he was pretty special. Mama and Papa gave the boys Halloween treat bags. As soon as Coop saw his he screamed chocolate coins! He was beyond happy, he loves candy especially chocolate. He stood by Mama and Papa for the longest time and had them open candy for him. It was nice for them to see his sweet calm side while they were feeding him candy. He sure did eat lots, he was in heaven. Baylor had fun playing with Ethan who wanted to walk up and down the stairs over and over again. He is on the move and is so fast! We had a great time and love Mama and Papa so.

Sharmin's Birthday Lunch

Coop wanted to sit by the birthday girl. He was happy he didn't have to sit in a high chair, he really needs one though. He ends up getting up:).
Baylor and Sweetie.

Parker was very noisy at lunch.
He was trying to clar the table.
Baylor helped Sharmin with her presents. He made her some things too.
She was so excited!
Happy Birthday Sharmin!
After church Mimi, the boys and I went to El Jaripeo with Sharmin, Sweetie, and Roshen to celebrate Sharmin's birthday. Tom left on a trip, Pop went to hear Joe in a competition in D.C. and Mecwan was preaching in Chicago so we went without the men. Sharmin is such a sweet girl and has grown up so much since she moved here. She is so sincere and fun to be around! I can't believe she is a Senior! The boys had so much fun with the girls at lunch and were so busy. Sharmin loved her presents and had fun.

Halloween Party

I got this picture of Tom and I from Andi's blog.
Proof from the front that he really was getting into the werewolf mask.
Cohen was a werewolf and Campbell was Abby from Seaseme Street.
Baylor could not wait for the party to start. He got started on the crafts a little early.
The boys did great helping me get the little Halloween pails ready.

I look so tall next to Jamie in my cowboy boots.

Wendy and Jessie.

The Potters came as the Waldo family.

The Rohns came as Wendy, Peter Pan, and the cutest crocodile ever!

The Brown family looking good.

The Millers came as the four seasons, so creative!

The Schultz family came as Cruella, Jasper, and a cute little dalmatian.

Gigi was adorable as Alice!

Andi was the leg lamp and Baron was the fragile box from A Christmas Story.

Parker was a cute Rex.

Cooper was scared of Josh's werewolf costume, but eventually got over it and was trying to scare others.

Addi was the Mad Hatter.

The food was yummy.

Cute sweets.

We played six games and did some in the garage and some in the house.

The kids all got to decorate a little pumpkin with a sharpie.

Jack was hard at work.

Baylor was most excited about bopping for apples. He did not want to give up and kept trying again and again and he finally got an apple.

Coop tried too, he thought it was funny.

Joe and Jessica came as the lamp and box too, these couples ended up winning the costume contest along with the Four Seasons.

The only picture I have of Tom from the night. We were too busy to get a family picture. We all had a great time.

We played ring toss on witches' hats with glow necklaces. We also did pumpkin ring toss, pumpkin bowling, a beanie baby toss, and bone toss in the cauldron. The kids all did great.

There was also time for the kids to play and just have fun!

On Saturday night was our Halloween party at our house. The boys have been so excited and could not wait for their friends to come. They helped me get the favors all ready and even tried out the games before the party started. We had lots of yummy food and tasty treats. It was a costume party and everyone dressed up, there were some really original costumes. It was such a great night and so much fun!
