Boating with Friends

On Sunday we met the Potter family at Geist around lunch time for a day of fun on the water.

The kids were all excited to be together!

I was a little worried how the boys would do all day since we had a late night the night before but they did great all day.

We grilled out on the boat again and had lots of yummy sides and snacks.

It was a warm day and the water felt great.

Parker was ready to get in and swim today. He ended up being brave and did great.

Later in the day we tied up with Kelly and Tony and Coop made his way to Bailey on her boat. He is in love.

The kids couldn't wait to go tubing.

All four big kids went together and had the best time.

Parker man fell asleep and took his nap in his seat.

So much fun.

Afterwards Tony invited us all to his house for dinner and to swim. The kids were excited to get in the pool.

It was super warm and felt great.

On the Water

After the parade and an open house for Payton on Saturday we headed to Geist for the evening. We took Bax and he did a little swimming.

Daddy got a new grill for the boat and we tried it out for the first time. We had hot dogs and brats with sides and it worked out great. The boys love to eat on the boat.

The Taylors were having a party and we swam at their neighbor's house when it got dark.

Parker jumping off the diving board. He did it over and over again. As soon as he would jump in he would say, "Me do it gain".

Mimi bought tickets for the Indianapolis 500 parade this year and we were excited to go. The only downfall was the weather forecast that predicted record high temps. As we were walking to our seats we saw lots of seats in the shade, but ours were in direct sun.

It was hot but we stayed cool with water, frozen towels, and snow cones.

The boys got a treat from a street vendor and Parker picked a horn, he was busy blowing it.

By the end he was so sweaty!

The parade was really good and our seats were great. The boys could see everything perfectly!

Coop was ready to sing God Bless the USA when the soldiers came.

Lots of fun balloons.

He put a frozen towel on his head to cool off. He got really hot!

The floats were great.

They loved seeing all the race cars.

Conner Prairie

Friday morning I had a doctor's appt. The boys stayed with Miss Sarah and then when I got home we headed to Conner Prairie with Mimi. The boys were dressed in play clothes, but I decided to let them go with it. They were all ready sweaty from playing outside and it was a hot day!

Our first stop was lunch. The boys were happy they didn't have a class and could just explore today.

Our first stop was the barn. Lots of new babies to pet and love on.

The barn is so much fun.

I'm always amazed at how brave my boys are with the farm animals. You would think we were big animal people, but they have always loved the barn at Conner Prairie.
