Another Snowy Day

Park had preschool this morning and we spent the time cleaning up at home.  We had planned to go to Conner Prairie but then the snow ended up being more than expected and the roads were bad!

We decided to stay close and had lunch with Mimi at El Jaripeo and then headed to the library to check out books and play.

We were the only people there and they had the best time.

Park was busy building and playing the whole time.
Cheese!
Reading some books.
He thought he was big stuff sitting at the table and kept wanting to get off and back on the seat over and over.

Picked these special books out for Coop.

Computer time.

After the library we headed to church to burn off some more energy in the play land.  The boys love to go there but I prefer it when it's not crowded and crazy.  Today it was perfect and we were the only ones there the whole time.

I got in on the fun and crawled around with the boys too.  Sawyer loved going down the slide with me.  He was giggling and smiling the entire time.

He thinks he's big stuff.

Park had the best time.

I love getting to be their mom.
He was so proud on the slide and kept clapping for himself.  Mimi was cheering for him.

Sawyer soaked himself in the water fountain so he had to change when we got home.  Within minutes this was him.  He totally wore himself out!

MidWeek Randoms

The boys have been loving Legos lately.  They actually get along and work together when working on Legos.

Sawyer is trying to earn the title of Head Tornado at home!  I took him to the game room so that I could fold clothes and he totally destroyed the room within ten minutes.
Parker loves to watch Daniel Tiger.  He saw the idea of making a banana smoothie on an episode and has been dying to try it.  He approved!

Morning play time.

1,2, 3 Go!

Love his smile!
Working on not pushing:).

Worn out after running errands with Mimi and Mommy.

He's out!
Baylor's report card, All A's!

Cheering on his Baylor Bears!

Clean boys.

I love clean smelling babes in matching jammies!

Cooper's First Basketball Game

Cooper has been counting down the days for his first basketball game.  He has wanted to play since Baylor started.  Today was his day!  He is #12 and his team name is the Tigers.  Upward is a great program and wonderful with early learners.  The prayer before and the devotion at half time are great too!  He had a great time and smiled during the whole game and couldn't stop talking about his first game the rest of the day.  He  even scored a basket!  He's excited for the rest of the season.

Dates For A Year: January

For Christmas this year I got Tom dates for a year.  He has a preplanned and paid for date for each month of the year.  Tonight was our January date night.  We went for dinner at Mama Corolla's.  We had not been there before and it was so good!  We loved it!  The Travel Channel was there filming while we were eating for a show called "The Best Places to Chow Down".  This restaurant is one of the places for the midwest.
After dinner we headed to Hinkle Field House for a Butler Basketball game.  We had never been to one before.
It was such a fun night!

Hinkle is such a nostalgic field house and it's the perfect place to watch a basketball game.

I got this for the boys!

I am so lucky to get to spend my life with Tom. He's my best friend and we have so much fun together.  I am excited about our dates throughout the year!

Snow Play and Science

Today was another Snow Day!
I can't remember the last time we missed five days of school in a row because of snow!

It was a long week but the boys had a great time.

It was warmer today so Park and Coop were able to go out side and play.  Baylor was at Mimi's house again.
They play so well together.
On top of the snow fort.

They had fun sliding down the snow fort.
A little snow ball fun.

Who doesn't love a snow picnic.

They were making a snow dinner.

Pals.
Playing on the slide.
They love the snow, but I'm ready to play outside in fresh green grass and budding trees:).

Bax was busy playing too.
Love them.

They made a king's table to eat lunch.

Sawyer loves spaghetti.  He needed another bath!
What?

Before nap, we got out Cooper's science wizard kit.
He had the best time making potions.
It was fun!

Using his magic wand.

Hard at work.

It was really neat to do and have fun together.

He loved this one!

Measuring out the ingredients.  We had another fun day at home, but we are hoping for warmer temps next week!
