Once the sun was out the beach was packed!
We all woke up this morning to torrential rain. It was a complete downpour and the roads were flowing with water. We decided to use the time in the morning to pack, clean and get things ready for going home. We went to Fedex and shipped two boxes and then went to Taco Bell for lunch. By the time we were done eating the sun was out. We hurried and got ready for the beach. I love the beach on the fourth of July. It feels so festive with lots of flags flying and big groups having fun at such a beautiful place. The boys played on the boogie boards and in the sand. After the beach we went to the pool and swam before nap. We needed to get to nap so we could be back to the beach in time for the fireworks. We went to dinner at Demetrio's and had a great meal. The boys love it there! During dinner it was sprinkling but we were hopeful it would hold off. When we got to the beach we went on a walk and enjoyed the sunset and saw a beautiful rainbow. Parker fell asleep in his stroller and the boys got their glow necklaces and bracelets ready. The fireworks were great and lasted so long! All the boys loved them and they were clapping. It ended up being a great night without any rain. At the end of the fireworks a group started singing Happy Birthday to America and we joined in. We are so thankful to live in America!
