What a wonderful Mother's Day. The day started off with Daddy and Baylor surprising me with a card and presents. Three new charms for my bracelet, an Itunes card, and a certificate for a pedicure. How sweet. Church was absolutely wonderful and a great testament to the power of prayer. It made me so thankful for my boys and the blessing they are and how thankful I am to be a mom. When we were trying to have Baylor I was so worried and afraid that I may never be able to be a mom. The boys are such an answer to prayer and fill our lives with so much joy. While there are days I feel stressed and crazy I am so thankful for them and all they bring to our family. After church we went to Mimi and Pop's house to give Mimi her presents. Baylor could not wait to give her the beautiful flower pot and bird house. He was so proud. Mom is such an awesome mother and I feel so blessed. She has always been there for me through every part of my life and I love her so much. She is an excellent role model, friend, and encourager. We then went to lunch with the rest of our family and had a great time. Baylor once again passed out his presents and even Sarah received her first Mother's Day gift. After lunch I even got to take a long nap all by myself. I was so HAPPY! It was a perfect day!

Megan graduated from Anderson University on Saturday. Mimi threw a great party for her and lots of family after the ceremony. It was so nice to meet some of Megan's family and have fun celebrating Megan's accomplishments. We are so proud of Megan and were so excited to spend a fun weekend with her in Indiana. Luckily we get to see her next weekend too for Joe's graduation. What exciting times in their lives.

What a busy day we have had today. It started out with a soccer game and the weather was actually a little chilly and quite breezy. The sun was shining at times but I was glad it was only an hour game and was ready to get in the car for some warmth. Baylor's team did great today. They stayed with the ball and played more aggressively. We even scored 4 goals, yeah. Baylor did a good job, but I do think he prefers hanging out on the bench with his dad. After soccer we headed to Mammaw and Pappaw's house for Mother's Day. The lunch was tasty and the kids once again enjoyed time together. They were all a muddy mess from playing on the swing set. They even spent some time fishing with the dads but they did not have much luck. It was a nice day and everyone had a great time.

Tonight was Baylor's preschool graduation. The kids put on a wonderful program and sang lots of cute songs. Baylor was right in the front and sang his little heart out. He did a great job with all the motions and you could tell he was having a great time. His special song was I'm in the Lord's Army. He also received a special preschool diploma. He truly loves going to preschool and enjoys being with his friends and great teachers. I am so glad he will be there for one more year. We love you Baylor and are so proud of you!!!!

We had a great class at Conner Prairie today about gardens and spring planting. We toured all the outdoor gardens and learned about lots of plants. Baylor loved smelling and touching all the plants. The biggest highlight outside were the new baby pigs that were only three days old. They were so cute. When we came back inside the kids made a may basket and a corsage. It was lots of fun and he did a great job. We love being able to be outside!

Tonight we hosted a surprise birthday party for Tom's dad. He really had no idea and was completely surprised. We had to keep it a secret from Baylor too so that we could keep it all under wraps. It is his 60th birthday and lots of people were able to come and celebrate. We got so lucky for the weather and it was a beautiful night outside. The kids had a wonderful time playing together and loved being able to spend the entire night outside. The big boys had fun playing corn hole and it was fun to watch too. Tom was really excited to be able to have this party for his dad and I am so glad it all turned out great. Happy Birthday!!!!
