We all woke up this morning to torrential rain. It was a complete downpour and the roads were flowing with water. We decided to use the time in the morning to pack, clean and get things ready for going home. We went to Fedex and shipped two boxes and then went to Taco Bell for lunch. By the time we were done eating the sun was out. We hurried and got ready for the beach. I love the beach on the fourth of July. It feels so festive with lots of flags flying and big groups having fun at such a beautiful place. The boys played on the boogie boards and in the sand. After the beach we went to the pool and swam before nap. We needed to get to nap so we could be back to the beach in time for the fireworks. We went to dinner at Demetrio's and had a great meal. The boys love it there! During dinner it was sprinkling but we were hopeful it would hold off. When we got to the beach we went on a walk and enjoyed the sunset and saw a beautiful rainbow. Parker fell asleep in his stroller and the boys got their glow necklaces and bracelets ready. The fireworks were great and lasted so long! All the boys loved them and they were clapping. It ended up being a great night without any rain. At the end of the fireworks a group started singing Happy Birthday to America and we joined in. We are so thankful to live in America!

Saturday in Pictures
Thanks Carl, Nicole, and Eli, they were a big hit.
We went even though it was sprinkling.
Two little fish I know actually love to swim in the rain!
He loves to jump jump jump.
He's really getting good at kicking.
We were actually getting cold without Mr. Sun so we wrapped up and headed in for lunch.
The clouds were moving in and the thunder started so we decided we needed to head somewhere after lunch. We were ready for an adventure.
We headed to the Red Barn Flea Market. This picture sums up the place. There was so much junk, aisle after aisle of junk and then more junk.
There was lots of food though. B got a monster pickle.
Coop loved all the watermelons.
The cantaloupe and watermelons were $1.00.
After our adventure the big boys took a nap and then Parker and I went on a walk at the beach. The sun was out and it was hot!
We stopped at Fedex and got two boxes and Parker and I packed them up to ship home. We have too much stuff to get home!
We were all feeling quite festive.
We tried to get a group picture before leaving for St. Armands but that was not happening.
We went back to Crab and Fin for one more time. Baylor and Cooper and Mommy love the piano man. He is so nice. We shopped and then it started to downpour while we were in my favorite shoe store. Mimi went to get the car with an umbrella from the shop and then a nice man walking by helped me get the boys in the car with his umbrella. It was raining so hard!

Rain, Rain
After having great weather the whole time we woke up to grey skies this morning. I went on a walk and it started to sprinkle and it looked so dark over the ocean. It was thundering or lightning and the boys wanted to go swimming so we went in the rain. It rained off and on while we were there but the boys didn't seem to mind. They actually thought it was fun to swim in the rain. We were there with Jackson who the boys have played with all week and they all had a great time. We came in for lunch and decided we better have a plan for the rest of the day. We got ready and ate lunch at Chick-fil-a and then went and saw Toy Story 3 again. Parker slept through the whole movie and the older boys sat great. We all loved seeing the movie again. I could actually see it a few more times.

Shore Day
We sat right down by the water today and the boys brought their boogie board. The waves were big again and they were perfect for riding waves. Mimi took Baylor out first and helped him and he had so much fun. He was laughing and having the best time. Cooper tried it too but it was a little hard with his tube and the waves were too big without the tube. They both had fun standing on the boards right by the shore and sitting on them. Coop was busy with all his shovels and buckets too. We all had fun looking for cocina shells by the shore. Cooper was actually really good at getting them. After the beach we went to the pool and the boys ate lunch at the pool. They had fun swimming with the kids and Baylor was able to stay longer again with Mimi. Tonight we went back to the Philippi Creek. We haven't been there in years and then twice in just a few days. Both boys wanted to go back and the food was really good. We all loved it. It started to rain again right after dinner so sunset was out and we went to a few stores before heading home for the night.
