Home for the Holidays!!!

Mimi made this sign for Joe. Home for the Holidays!!!! Hurray!
He loves Uncle Joe.
He's home.
While we were waiting for Joe, the boys checked out the Santa village. It is so hard to just look!
He was so happy.
Mimi has been so excited for him to get home.
My little brother.
They both love to eat at Chili's.
What a cute little pilgrim.
The boys were so excited this morning because they knew today was the day Uncle Joe was coming home!!! Cooper and I took Baylor to preschool and then ran errands. When we picked Baylor up he told us all about his Thanksgiving feast and that he helped make the corn muffins. He said the turkey at school was yummy. He tried on his Pilgrim outfit for us and showed us his special handprint placemat, he was so proud. We hurried to Mimi's house to wait for Pop to bring Joe home from the airport. When we heard the car in the driveway both boys started running and dancing. They were so excited. I don't think Baylor quit talking the entire time and wanted to hold Joe's hand. Joe picked his favorite spot for lunch, Chili's. It was so nice to talk with Joe and spend time with him, we all miss him so much. We went to Keystone and did some shopping and stopped at Taylor's bakery to get some things for Thanksgiving. Baylor is so excited for tomorrow. We are looking forward to a great day with our family. We are so thankful for them!

Nutcracker Craze

He is in love with Nutcrackers and was so excited when he found this aisle at Old Time Pottery.
The one he picked. It is huge and around his tree. I really do not know what we are going to do with these when Christmas is over. He wants to leave them in his room all year.
Unfortunately for Cooper he was asleep the whole time and missed out on the nutcracker overload. He also says, "buy that for my desser", when he sees a nutcracker.

Let the Painting Continue

He painted Santa and himself red.
Painter at work.
He headed right to the sink. He was a big mess!

We painted once again tonight and are getting even closer to finishing all our gifts. Baylor finished his final manger scene tonight and it turned out great. We only have a few more things to finish and then we will start wrapping. Baylor loves to wrap and add lots of tape!!! He is having a hard time deciding who gets which gift. He has changed his mind several times. He really puts alot of thought into each one and does not want to leave anyone out.

One More Month

One more month to go.
Keep growing little man.
This picture matches perfect.
Mimi gave Parker the Siesta Key picture and it has the three boy's names on it.
Pop gave us this antique rocker he bought at an auction and we had it recovered. I love the fabric.
Cute curtains.
The changing table is all ready and stocked.
Can't wait to add pictures to the frames.
His bed fits perfectly in this little alcove. I love the red furniture and how it looks in the room.
Don't they look ready for a new baby?

I can't believe today is November 22 and Parker will be here with us in just one month. I am so excited to meet him and see his sweet little face. I can't wait to see if he looks like his brothers and how big he is going to be. I feel so blessed to have this little miracle join our family and am excited to have a newborn once again. I was telling the boys today that it would only be a few more weeks and Parker would be at our house. Baylor reminded me that Parker was going to be his baby and I could just have Cooper. We will see how that works out. While I am anxious about another c-section and the actual delivery I know the Lord is in control and will be with us all the way. I am hoping for a quick recovery so that I can be home in time for Christmas Eve. It will be hard not seeing the boys for a few days right around Christmas but I am thankful that Mimi and Pop will take great care of them and that they will be loved on and have a great time.

Parker we love you so and are thrilled to have you in our family. We love you little one!!!

Daddy's Little Elf Helpers

He kept checking out Santa.
He was a great helper.
They used the tractor to transport items back and forth from the barn.
Helping Daddy pick up sticks.
"Decorating" the grass.
Gathering berries in his tool apron.
When I picked him up from church all the children were sitting in tubs in a row in the classroom and Baylor was pretending to pass out cookies. His teacher, Miss Julie, said he made the Polar Express and all the kids were riding. Every child was seated and after passing out cookies Baylor was the engineer and drove the train. He even told the story to the kids. He really does have a great imagination. Miss Julie said he was so cute when he was getting it all ready.

Today Daddy worked on getting the Christmas lights outside. He also trimmed the trees and a few bushes. It was another nice sunny day and the boys were excited to get outside. They were big helpers and wanted to be right by Daddy. They were anxious to get the lights outside. Cooper enjoyed picking strands of lights out of the tubs and laying them in the grass. I think he thought he was doing a little decorating. Baylor was busy collecting berries and flowers from the trees. He thought they would make good Christmas gifts but I had to keep telling him they would not be good by then.

First Thanksgiving

Pappaw with the younger grandkids.
The kids end of the table. Baylor was very intent on buttering his roll.
Shelby read lots of books to Cooper.
Eating "happy to you cake".
Baylor loved Pappaw's chocolate cake especially the icing.

Today we celebrated Thanksgiving with Tom's family. The boys were excited to play with their cousins and had a great time. They were busy playing the entire time and were nice and sweaty by the time we left. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and lots of great desserts. We celebrated Uncle Joe's and Nick's birthdays and Cooper was very happy with the "happy to you cake". He kept saying "more happy to you". We had a great time and enjoyed the day with Tom's family.
