Bible Study Reunion

Eli, Cooper, Drew, Nick, Baylor, Jack and Maddy
Cooper loves Maddy!
Such nice friends.
Mimi made Halloween cupcakes or "pancakes" if you're Cooper for us to take.
Can you tell they were excited!
What cute kids!
Tom and Austin
Jamie won a Sargento house party that donated the food. She is lucky with drawings and online contests!
The newlyweds of the group.

Our Bible Study group has been together for the past two years but we are not continuing this year. We all have enjoyed spending the past two years together and our kids love playing together. Tonight we had a "reunion" or little party to visit and spend time together. The kids had so much fun and really do love each other. The group has been so special to us and we have loved the time together. It is nice to be able to get together and enjoy each other's company. Thanks Potter family for a great dinner and a wonderful time together.
On a side note I cannot believe that today is the last day of September. This was the last month that my little man was one for the entire month. He still seems like a baby when he is one, but two seems so much older. I can't believe that one week from today Baylor will be five. The time has flown by and I still think of him as my little baby boy. I am so thankful for them and feel so blessed to be their mom!

Happy Birthday Andi!

The cheesecake was yummy!
She is such a blessing!

Tonight Andrea and I went to the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate her birthday. Her birthday is on Oct. 9 and we will be out of town so I wanted to celebrate with her before. She is such a special friend and I am so blessed to have her in my life. We have been friends since sixth grade and I enjoy sharing special times with her and all the memories we have from over the years.

Apple Picking

Looking for a good one.
I think Baylor ate three apples while we were picking.
I love them!
The best shot of the kids. They did not want to sit and stay in the picture.

Today our Mops group had a play date at Anderson Orchard. It was a little chilly this morning so the turn out was not that great, but the kids had a great time. The sun was shining and the wind was not blowing so it ended up being nice while picking apples. It was not crowded at all and it felt like we had the whole orchard to ourselves. The boys had fun picking and eating apples.

Feels Like Fall

I asked him to bring me a towel and his answer: "Yes, my vision of beauty". Seriously where does he come up with this stuff.
Checking out the pumpkins. The boys and I bought mums to plant today.
They were super close to this squirrel.
He was busy eating a nut.
On a side note these pirate pals are getting excited for their party on Saturday. Their mommy has started to pray for a nice day with no rain. The weather looks a little iffy!

Today is definitely a fall day. The sun is shining but it is windy and much cooler. I had told the boys we could go to the little park after Baylor's preschool, but when we got out of the van it was way too windy. We ended up coming home and playing in the garage and outside for some time this afternoon. The sun felt so nice and the fresh air was super. The boys had fun chasing squirrels around the front yard. It was quite funny to watch.

Sweeter

I can't believe this sweet boy is going to be 5 in a week! Where has the time gone?
Can you tell who didn't want to get their picture taken before church?
Sweet and Silly!
Is there anything sweeter than a new baby?
Ethan was nice and cozy when we visited today!
He is just precious.

Everyday with You, Lord is sweeter than the day before
Everyday with You, Lord is sweeter than the day before
Every morning I will worship, every evening I'll adore
‘Cause everyday with You is sweeter, sweeter than the day before
(Repeat all)
What a privilege to know You,
like I know You...
To be loved like You loved me
What honor to worship, truly worship
From this heart that You have freed
From the rising of the sun…to the setting of the same
Everyday with You, Lord is sweeter than the day before
Everyday with You, Lord is Sweeter than the day before
Every morning I will worship,
Every evening I'll adore
‘Cause everyday with You is sweeter, sweeter than the day before
What a wonder to live life, really live life.
Overcoming anything
What a reason to lift up, freely lift up...
Everyday my everything
From the rising of the sun to the setting of the same
Everyday with You, Lord is sweeter than the day before
Everyday with You, Lord is Sweeter than the day before
Every morning I will worship, Every evening I'll adore
‘Cause everyday with You is sweeter, sweeter than the day before

Day with Dad

Loving on his pal.
Cooper would not let go of his balloon.
Yummy!
Cooper was singing "Happy to You".
Checking out the big pumpkins.
What a great helper.

After three straight weeks of Tom being gone during the week, the boys were so excited to wake up to Daddy at home this morning. They have had a great day spending time with Dad. Both boys helped Daddy outside today in the yard. They were so dirty and tired at nap time. Tonight we ate dinner at Champps and had fun spending time with our favorite Daddy. It is so nice to have him back home! He doesn't have to travel during the week for a few weeks so that is great!

3 Months Away

My little helpers.
He did a good job of sorting all the goodies.
All ready for movie night.
Cooper kept feeding Pooh bites of popcorn.

The boys and I have had a busy night at home. Since Daddy is traveling back tonight we were by ourselves on another Friday night. We ate dinner and did the laundry before we started the exciting parts of the night. The big birthday party for the boys is only a week away so the boys helped me get the treat bags ready. Baylor was a big help and did a great job. Cooper loved being a part of the action, but I can't really say he was much of a help. After shower time we had another movie night with popcorn. Since Christmas is only 3 months away from today, can you believe it, the boys picked Santa Claus is Coming to Town. They enjoyed the movie and were singing all about HO HO!

Halloween Baking

All ready to cook.
He only lost one egg on the counter.
Giving the batter a little taste.
Ready for the oven.
He iced the brownies after bath in his old faithful fiesta.
Coop had fun with Pop.

Tonight Mimi had a special treat for Baylor. They made brownies together at her house. He was able to do all the work and loved every minute of it. He was so proud of himself and worked so hard. The hardest part was waiting for them to bake and cool. Pop and I kept Cooper entertained upstairs during the cooking. If he only knew what he was missing, but he did enjoy eating the brownie. They were tasty!

Haunted Gingerbread House

Pop and Baylor with their masterpiece.
He was so proud.
Hard at work.
Trying out the icing. Cooper was peeking to see what was going on. I think next year he will want to participate.
Spooky!
Here's a picture of Pop and Baylor from last year.
What his house looked like last year. I think he looks so much older.

Pop and Baylor worked on their haunted gingerbread house last night. Baylor was so excited to work on this with Pop. He remembered doing this last year and was so excited. They worked for a long time and even added candles for the big reveal. Baylor enjoyed eating some candy and purple icing during the decorating. He loves his Pop and enjoyed doing this special activity with him again this year.

Build A Bear

Mama and Baylor
Filling Fluffy the bear.
Cooper stuffing his owl.
Getting their hearts ready to put in their cuddlies.

After preschool we picked up Mama and Mimi to do some shopping. Mama needed to get birthday gifts, a baby gift, and do some personal shopping. We went along for the trip and to spend time with Mama and Mimi. Mama treated the boys to Build A Bear which was super exciting for both of them. We went while Mama tried on lots of clothes at Macy's. This was much better than us hanging out forever in the dressing room. Baylor picked a fall leaf bear and Cooper picked an owl. They have been having fun playing today with their new cuddlies. Thanks Mama, we love you!
