How Do I Love Thee

Our cheesy self portrait on Valentine's Day while waiting at the counter for our food. We had fun singing the old songs and talking to each other!

In high school I had to memorize this poem for a speech class. It has been one of those things I have never forgot and often crosses my mind when I think of Tom. I feel so blessed to have him in my live and love him more each and everyday. It is so fun to be able to spend time alone with him and go on dates. It is funny how we still feel like we are in high school and young teenagers in love. We went to two girly movies and Tom was such a sport about it, another reason why I love him so. First we saw "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and then "He's just not that into you". In between we went to Johnny Rockets and ate quickly at the counter. It was a perfect night and then we were able to come home and kiss our boys. Oh how lucky I am to have three men who are so special to me. I love you Tom, Baylor and Cooper!!!!!

How Do I Love Thee

by Elizabeth Barrett Browning

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

I love thee to the depth and breadth and height

My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight

For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.

I love thee to the level of everyday's

Most quiet need, by sun and candle light.

I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;

I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.

I love thee with a passion put to use

In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.

I love thee with a love I seemed to lose

With my lost saints, I love thee with the breath,

Smiles, tears, of all my life! and if God choose,

I shall but love thee better after death.
