House Update End of Week 7

The stairs are in and are so much better. The old slats were so far apart.
They are still wrapped in plastic but I am really excited about how it turned out.

This week we were kicked out of the house during the day for 2 1/2 days because they were spraying the woodwork and staining the wood. It smelled really bad but was better by the evening so we were able to sleep at home. We spent those days at Mimi's house and the boys even took their naps at her house. The cabinets and shelves for the fireplace area came this week and they have started installation. They were built off site in their workshop so it was exciting to see it all come together. The stairs were finished this week and the stain is all done. The next two weeks are crunch time and it will be interesting to see it all come together. The delivery of appliances is set for March 16 so we will see if we are ready for them then.
