I Don't Want to Forget...

He got a 100 on his first spelling test. The cutest thing was he didn't even know what that meant. He writes this on the back of several of his papers. Be still my heart!

I don't want to forget...

that he will hold my hand when I walk him to the door in the morning and give me a kiss and a hug before he runs into the school building. I don't want to forget that he writes I love my mom and I love my dad on his papers. I don't want to forget that he tells me I look beautiful. I don't want to forget that he thinks his dad is his hero. I don't want to forget how he hugs and kisses us. I don't want to forget how excited he gets. I also don't want to forget how mad he can get at times too. I don't want to forget how much he loves to learn, read books, and do art. I don't want to forget what a great imagination he has and how much fun he has with his brothers. I don't want to forget watching him learn something new and how determined he is. I don't want to forget how funny he is and how smart he is with things he says. I don't want to forget his love of shopping. I don't want to forget his love of cuddlies. I don't want to forget that he will always be my first baby! Lately I have been having a hard time with the fact that he will be in school all day next year. I love spending the time with him and he is going to be sad! I don't want to forget these days.
