Friday morning the phone rang at 5:00 am and I knew right away school was cancelled. Today was the last day before Christmas break and the snow overnight and heavy winds forced the schools to close. Baylor was sad to miss his Christmas party.
We stayed home all day and got ready for the busy weekend but had time to play in the snow inside!
When I was a teacher I always brought snow in the class and let the kids play with it in the room during our winter/snow unit and it was a hit. My boys love it too!
They were busy for close to 1 hour and 30 minutes and I kept refilling their snow tubs.
Daddy had been in Tampa for the past three days and we were happy he was still able to make his flight this morning. We were ready to have him back home!
He was busy making snow balls.
They wanted to go outside to play but since we couldn't leave Sawyer inside alone this worked out great.
He made cute little snowmen after he made lots of snowballs.
