Happy 8 Months Parker!
You may be smiling in your bed but you are not a fan of sleeping there alone:)

You are one happy little fellow.

You had fun playing in your toy basket.

You sure do love your toys and we sure do love you!

Parker you are eight months old. You are quite mobile now and are on the move. You are still army crawling but are quite fast. When you are really trying to get to something you hurry and have the most determined look. You are sitting up great and can get back up on your own now. You love love to play with toys and love anything that sings or makes noise. You also love to play with your big brothers and think they are the greatest. You like to read or "eat" books and love any that make noises or have different textures. You love it when we sing songs. Your favorites are Jesus Loves Me, The Itsy Bitsy Spider, Bye Oh Baby, and How Much is That Doggie in the Window. You also love to play peek a boo, do patty cake, and This Little Piggy. You are one happy baby and will smile at any one you see. You do get called a girl quite often but you are a beautiful baby. You sure are noisy too and like to use your voice to talk to people. You rarely cry but can jabber up a storm. You don't have any teeth but are drooling like crazy so I think you are getting close. You wake up so happy in the morning and just smile and welcome the day. I love to snuggle with you in the morning. You are now eating cereal and a fruit for breakfast, a fruit and veggie for lunch, and a fruit and veggie for dinner. Your favorite fruits are bananas and pears but you really like them all except for peaches. The veggies are a different story. You like sweet potatoes and squash but are not a fan of many others. You hate peas and green beans and will make yourself gag until you choke. I've read to keep trying that you will eventually acquire a taste but I have to say I think you are not a fan! You still nurse several times a day and also drink water from a sippy cup. You are now wearing size 5 diapers and they are a better fit. You are mostly wearing size 18 months in clothing. Some of your summer clothes are getting a little tight:) You are long and super strong. You are such a sweet sweet baby and we all love you so. We are so lucky to have you in our family! We are excited to watch you grow this month.
