Some of the kids had already left at this point but there was a great turn out.My friend, Jamie, planned a kindergarten "meet and greet" for kids who are going to NPE. We had originally planned to go to the park, but we changed it to our church's playland when the heat index for the day was forecasted at 110 degrees. We thought it would be miserable to play outside for too long and the kids would enjoy it much more inside. Thankfully we had the whole playland to ourselves. Baylor had fun playing with Maddy and Drew but I'm not sure if he really met any new kids or tried to play with them. I did talk to several moms who have little girls that will be in his class. So far I don't know any boys that will be in his room but have heard of a few. He has lots of friends that are girls so I think he will be fine. It was nice to see other kids though so their will be familiar faces on the first day. I can't believe we are only one week away from the big day. He is getting nervous and so am I!

What a GREAT idea!!! Baylor is going to be an excellent student, I am sure of that! You have done a wonderful job of providing learning experiences for him.... I am now excited for HIM to go to school and thankful that I do NOT have to go to school for a couple of weeks! :-D
