Shelbyville Pool

First time of the diving board.

Parker and Mommy in the shade. We sat under one of the big umbrellas and laid our blankets all out on the grass. The boys thought that was great.

Coop couldn't jump off the diving board with his tube so he jumped off the side to Daddy.

During the adult swim we had a snack break. Coop had popcorn

and BMan had a pretzel.

He loves to play in water.

What a fun day.

This morning we went to church and then went to Cafe 52 with Mimi and Pop for breakfast. We decided to do something that would cool us off since it was once again so hot today. We went to Shelbyville Pool and had a great time. What a nice facility and it is all so clean. There is a large zero entry area for the kids with lots of water features to play in. There is also a big slide that Baylor and Cooper could both go on with Tom. Baylor was really excited because there was a diving board and he has never been on one before. He did great and had some really nice dives and big cannonballs. The lifeguard told him he was better than him on the diving board, which of course made Baylor quite proud. We all had a great day at the pool and picked the perfect spot to spend a hot sunny summer Sunday. On the way home we stopped at the Cow Palace for ice cream which made the trip even sweeter. I got raspberry and cherry vanilla ice cream which was so delicious!
