Shadday Family Christmas

Coop loved playing with Matt. He sang along with Matt during his solo.
Sarah came too and played with the boys.
Anna and Leah sang the Sisters song from White Christmas and even did the motions. It was so cute!
Pop, Grandpa, and Uncle Dave.
Anna and Leah helped Coop put his Diego train together. He loved playing with it.
Nate and Matt helped Baylor with the Mickey race track.
Mimi and Leah. Leah told us all about her freshman year at IU during dinner.
The rest of the group.
Both boys wanted to sit by Sarah at dinner.

We celebrated Christmas with the Shadday family at Mimi and Pop's house and had a wonderful time. It is always so nice to get together with family and enjoy each other's company during the holiday season. We had a delicious dinner catered by the Kopper Kettle. Baylor ate 3 chicken legs and a breast. He loves fried chicken. They both ate really well at dinner and then Cooper ate candy throughout the night. He was scavenging for candy and punch from everyone who was there. Who knows what he really ended up eating before the night was over. He was so happy though and had a great time. We played several games and there were so many great prizes to be won. The boys made Grandpa some special gifts that he really liked too. Mimi bought the boys each a toy so they would have something to play with and all the big cousins helped put them together and had fun playing too. It was so nice to have someone else to open and assemble the toys, we are going to need help like that on Christmas! Before leaving for the night we had a carol sing. This was always Grandma's favorite part of Christmas and we definitely missed her pretty voice. Uncle Dave played the guitar and we sang lots of our favorites. Cooper even sang along and was so funny adding lots of "Heys" to Jingle Bells. A few people sang solos, but Tom and I opted out of that. We always end with Silent Night and then sing a verse in German. Grandpa said he doesn't think there is a family out there that sings it any better. I must say there are lots of great voices in the family and it was lovely.
