Final Swim of the Season?

We had a special swimming treat today, the little boys were so excited.

Mama and Papa closed their pool last week since it was so cold. I really thought our swimming in Indiana was over for the season. We were so sad.

I had looked at the weather and knew today was going to be a beautiful day. Our high was in the 90's and it was going to be the warmest day of the week. I went to bed early last night after a long day and was excited when I had a text from Jocelyn in the morning asking if we wanted to come swimming at her parents today. Yes, we would love to come!

After preschool we met Jocelyn at her parent's house and had the best time. They live in our neighborhood so it was a short drive:).

Coop loved the diving board.

The kids all had a great time together. Jocelyn's sister Jovana was there too with her boys.

Jude and Jolie are both three.

Park loved the swing. He wore a puddle jumper today and did great.

I had bought some goggles on clearance and these had eyes in them. He looked a little scary when he was swimming.

Parker loved playing with all of the toys outside.

Jackson is 4 and was there for a little bit before his preschool started in the afternoon.

The water was so warm and we all had a great time swimming. I really think this is now our final swim in Indiana for the season. We all had a great time swimming this year!

Today was Patriot Day at Baylor's school in memory of September 11 and the students were encouraged to wear red, white, and blue. All of the boys were dressed for the day. Baylor also got to wear a hat today with a $1 donation and all of the monies raised was for the Veteran's hospital. We talked all about being a veteran and the sacrifices they make for our country.
