Pop's Birthday Celebration

When Mimi and Pop came over they saw footprints in the snow and found a special note in our mailbox. It was a note from Santa about waking the reindeer with our special bells next week. Baylor was so excited!
Singing to Pop.
Love them all!
So pretty.
My big boy.
Baylor and Papa.
Baylor loved the big tree on the porch. It is huge and smells so good.
This baby was noisy at lunch and he loved the chicken noodle soup and mashed potatoes.
Coop was pretending to be Mimi.
Happy boy.
I am so thankful for these two ladies.
The birthday boy with his dad and Baylor.
Park and Pop.
There was a Christmas party at church today in Joyland. These boys are in kindergarten too.
The joy jammers sang today and we all dressed up in Christmas colors. I have loved working with this group of great kids this year. It is so much fun.

We now have quite a few December birthdays in our family. Pop, Parker, and Tom are the lucky ones to get to celebrate their special day during the busiest time of the year. Since Pop had Messiah practice on his real birthday, Dec. 14, we celebrated after church with our family. We had a delicious lunch at Kopper Kettle with Mimi, Pop, Mama, Papa, and Grandpa. Kopper Kettle is decorated so beautiful for the holidays. The garland hanging is just gorgeous and it feels a little like the house in Holiday Inn, one of my all time favorite Christmas movies. After lunch we came home and took a long winter's nap on a snowy Sunday:). Mimi and Pop came over for breakfast for dinner and we had cake for Pop. We love you Pop!

Jessie, I love Holiday Inn too! We only had the black and white copy until Chloe spotted a colorized version at Target this year. It's the little things that get us excited! :-)
