I will...

We are always in a hurry to get out the door on time, or early for joy jammers and ushering, on Sunday morning but I always want to take the time to take a picture of my handsome boys before we leave. They always looks so nice before church and who knows what they will look like after church and breakfast!
The boys before church.
It's hard to get a good group shot of all three. Someone is always looking the other way or doing something else. I know that is hard to imagine.
Our church is doing a 21 day fast. The kids in Joyland are encouraged to participate too. Baylor was a little worried about the whole thing and did not want to give up certain things. He decided he would give up fighting and being mean to his brother. Both boys decided to give up fighting, they are going to pray instead of fighting. We'll see how it goes:).
Baylor's bible verse for this week is "The Lord is my sheperd".
Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, 24 but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord
Jeremiah 9:23
I will boast in the Lord my God
Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom
Or the strong man boast in his strength
Let not the rich man boast in his riches
But let the hum- ble come and give thanks
To the One who made us, the One who saved us
CHORUS
I will boast in the Lord my God
I will boast in the One Who's worthy
I will boast in the Lord my God
I will boast in the One Who's worthy, He's wor- thy
Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom
Or the strong man boast in his strength
Let not the rich man boast in his rich- es
But let the hum- ble come and give thanks
To the One who made us, the One who saved us
CHORUS
I will boast in the Lord my God
I will boast in the One Who's worthy
I will boast in the Lord my God
I will boast in the One Who's worthy
One of the girls in joy jammers, Eshter, brought this song to practice last week. She had found the song and made up all the motions. She is such a sweet girl with such a sweet sweet spirit. I love the song and her motions are great. The kids loved the song during worship time. Esther read the verse to Joyland before we taught the new song. I love working with these kids each week and am enjoying joy jammers and worshipping the Lord.
