We decided to drive to Florida again this summer after a successful trip over spring break. I was optimistic how it would go after the first trip went so great. We picked up Daddy at work on Friday afternoon right around nap time. We left from Greenwood around 2:00 pm. Parker was asleep before we even left Greenwood. The boys all slept during the first stint of the drive and we drove for five hours.
We then stopped for dinner at Cracker Barrel. I guess this is our driving tradition stop. The boys love to look around the store and there are seriously a million Cracker Barrels on the way.
After dinner we drove for close to three hours and then stopped at McDonald's for drink and a bathroom break. The boys all got cozy in their jammies and then we drove until we made it to Tifton Georgia and stopped for the night.
The next day we only had five hours left in our drive which made us all happy!
The car was loaded down and we were so excited to make it to the beach.
We watched Toy Story 1, Toy Story 2, G Force, Gnomeo and Juliet, Ducktales, and Curious George to help pass the time. We also had lots of snacks and read books. The boys really did great.
