Mote Marine

He loved looking at the manatees.
The manatees are named Hugh and Buffett.
Parker took a nap at the mammal center. He had to change his clothes because of another explosion!
We loved learning all about the sea turtles. There are 13 sea turtles in the hospital right now receiving care.
This turtle was telling Coop Hi.
So neat!
My favorite little boys.
This is Coop's face when he says cheese, we need to work on that.
Baylor is really into sharks right now and wants to read all about them and learn more. I love watching him learn and be excited about learning.
This hammerhead weighed 1280 pounds when it was caught and was pregnant with 56 pups.
The top of the shark tank is open, it sure did make me nervous with these two.
He sat there for the longest time and watched.
Do you see that thing?Happy in the shark zone. This area is outside but all covered. Thankfully we were dry and there was a really great breeze which made it really nice outside. We ate outside right by the shark area which was nice.
This crew had a great time.
We also found Nemo and Dory.
Here they are growing coral.
He loves crabs and wants to get a hermit crab of his own.
There was so much to do and see.
Once again it was pouring when we work up and the forecast called for rain all day long! We decided to go to the Mote Marine. The boys were excited to see all the sea creatures. It was super crowded when we got there and we had to wait outside to buy tickets but once we got in it did not feel too crowded. The mote is so nice and has some great exhibits. The boys loved the huge shark zone and the stingray petting area. They also loved the mammal center. We all had fun and were happy to go there for the day. On the way home we decided to stop at Yoders for a treat. I was so excited when we drove up and the sign said FRESH PEACH PIE! Be still my heart, it is my favorite and is only there for a limited time when the peaches are fresh. It is so delicious and I may or may not have eaten two pieces all by myself in one day.
