Tonight Mimi and Pop put up Mama's Christmas tree and decorated her house for the holidays. I didn't think I would be able to help because Tom had a work commitment but it was cancelled and I was able to spread holiday cheer too.
I really wanted to be there this year and was so happy I could spend this time with Mama. There's lots I could say but it's too hard. I just love her so and love to hear her still call me Jessie Girl. That's what she always called me and I love it.
Her tree looks great and she was excited.
We sang Christmas songs and talked about her different ornaments. She said she loves Christmas, so do I sweet Mama.
She helped unwrap the ornaments and would hand them to Pop or me to hang on the tree. Papa was happy to see it all done when he returned home from working at the food pantry. I loved spending the night with Mama.

I know I should wait until Thanksgiving is officially over but I too can't help but get in the holiday mood early this year!
Wonderful photographs of Mama! Spending time with her is so important. I am glad you still hear Jessie Girl.... What a great memory for you!
