Today is Day 5 of the Happy Day Project. The task for today was to refresh someone. I knew I had a busy day getting ready for the Food Pantry dinner so we worked on our items the night before.
Our first card was for Baylor's teacher. I know from personal experience that sometime teaching can feel like a thankless job, and in reality it is such a huge responsibility. Teachers are responsible for precious cargo during the day. There is so much required of teachers and we are thankful for all the work Baylor's teacher puts into her students. He drew her a picture and we added a thank you card and a gift card to O'Charley's for her to eat with her family. Our next card went to a friend who just went back to work this week after being on maternity leave. I know it was a big adjustment and tough at first. We gave her a gift card to Chili's and her sweet little boy a Color Wonder set. Cooper was excited to drop it off on their porch on Friday morning before school.
