It was a lovely fall day here again. I love fall weather! It is so nice to be able to spend time outside without sweating to death! After school we headed to Conner Prairie for a class all about pumpkins. I can't believe today is already the first of October. I love October, it's one of my very favorite months. There is so much to do and two of my precious boys were born in October:). Since we have to hurry to get there after school we ate lunch in the car again and I packed us all lunches. We got there right on time. Mimi and Parker walked around and the older boys and I went to class. We read a Pumpkin, Pumpkin, sang a song, played three games, made a pumpkin hat and paper pumpkin, and had snack. After all the indoor activities we headed outside. We went on a long walk outside. We saw two pumpkin patches along the way and stopped at Mrs. McClures house were she was making pumpkin pies and preserving pumpkin for the winter. It was really neat to hear her and the kids were all engaged. We then walked to the Indian camp and the kids all got to find a pumpkin in the pumpkin patch. The boys found cute little ones and were quite happy. We ended the day with a stop at the apple store:). We all love Conner Prairie!
